Being sold out to God is the hardest thing for a Christian to do. I mean completely sold out. As in total abandonment to God, to drop anything and everything for Him. To be reckless and extreme.
What stops us? It's often fear. Fear of what others will think sometimes, but often, it's deeper than that. It's the fear that He might ask us to do something we can't do or don't want to do. It's the fear that we will fail Him and/or ourselves and others.
We know because we have failed before.
When I said "If I follow you wholly and fully, what would you want me to do?"
He said, "Why do you worry about the shoes you might wear when you don't yet walk?"
