Psalm 119:136 "Rivers of water run down from my eyes, because men do not keep Your laws" (NKJ)
This verse stuck with me and I was reminded of a classic sermon by Paris Reidhead called "10 Shekels and a Shirt." It's probably still at Sermonaudio.com and it's well worth listening to if you haven't already. I have listened to it several times over the years.
The psalmist was crying for God's sake, not for men's sake. When we see our God maligned and made fun of or ignored or marginalized, we should be crying for the sake of God heart. He deserves so much better from His creation.
