Only Mercy

Why do we hold our salvation so lightly? There is nothing between us and sure damnation but mercy... only mercy. There is nothing we can do, nothing at all, except to accept that mercy and hold to it.

"For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad." 2 Corinthians 5:10

Even then, we will answer for our sins. Thank God that we have an Advocate Who will not forsake us, either now or then.
